Tourism Queensland is seeking an island caretaker to house-sit for one of the natural wonders of the world.

The job, which was announced on Monday by the Queensland tourist board, will involve looking after Hamilton Island.
The idyllic island, just off mainland Australia, has year-round sunshine, sandy beaches, warm lagoons and sea life galore.
People enticed by the almost £6,000-a-month "best job in the world" flocked to Islandreefjob.com - only for the site to crash.
It has already received over 330,000 unique users - 63,000 from the UK.

Jonathan Sloan, UK spokesman for Tourism Queensland, said: "It's gone absolutely crazy, which is fantastic.
"We were expecting around 400,000 unique visitors over six months but we've already had that in the first day and a half."He pointed out that those interested in applying have until February 22 to submit their application.

In addition to the big salary, the lucky person who lands the job will get flights, transfers, expenses, transport - and a three-bedroom villa, set on a shady hill overlooking the sea.

Their 'chores' will include feeding turtles, watching whales and collecting the post.
The island caretaker will also have to write a weekly blog, keep a photo diary and record video updates to attract visitors to the Great Barrier Reef's 900 islands.

Hamilton Island is the largest inhabited island in the region and is located just off the coast of Queensland.
Its blue skies, crystal water and pure sands form "the backdrop to an ideal island life".
About two million tourists visit the islands each year, but most stay on mainland Australia and visit on day trips.
In May, 10 lucky candidates and one wildcard voted for by visitors to the website will be invited to the islands for the four-day final interview process.
